Community textiles project
Be part of an exciting textiles project to celebrate our beautiful town! Led by our amazing volunteer Teri, we're creating a banner depicting much-loved places in Berkhamsted – to be hung in the Town Hall when life returns to normal.
We'd love you to make a 4” x 6” picture featuring one of the scenes below (lots of other landmarks are already in progress). You'll need to leave enough room around it so it can be joined to the other pieces when we put it together. It can be hand or machine embroidered, with collage.
The library
The Rising Sun
Just let us know what you pick so we can tick it off the list by emailing comms@opendoorberkhamsted.co.uk. If you don't have the materials you need, we'll send you a pack, free of charge. We can't wait to see what you create!

"I popped into Open Door for a Qigong class and liked it so much, I decided to become a volunteer. I love helping in the cafe and meeting visitors, artists and other volunteers. They are some of the most interesting and talented people in the area." Sue
